The Richmond Taylor Group was founded in 2021 by Taylor Emry and Richmond Stecker in Atlanta, GA. Richmond and Taylor met in Columbia, SC while the two were attending the University of South Carolina. Taylor Emry went on to start multiple companies in the supplement industry while rehabbing residential rental properties. Richmond Stecker went on to become a debt specialist for TD Bank and later a mortgage broker for Alterra Home Loans. Richmond learned about Cost Segregation as a mortgage broker and began assisting Taylor with his real estate portfolio. The two friends quickly realized that most commercial property owners weren't taking advantage of the tax strategies Taylor and Richmond were using to increase the size of their portfolios. Within months they began creating what is known today as the Richmond Taylor Group, dedicated to helping real estate owners and investors eliminate their tax burden to increase their investment power. Today, Richmond and Taylor are dedicated to helping clients save money on their taxes, providing them with an under utilized service known as Cost Segregation.
